14 “You are the light of the world. A city that is set on a hill cannot be hidden.
15 Nor do they light a lamp and put it under a basket, but on a lampstand, and it gives light to all who are in the house.
16 Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works and glorify your Father in heaven.
Sermon Notes: A CHANGE MUST COME
We are living in days, in a time and season, when I think we all need to reexamine and evaluate our feelings, our thoughts, and our opinions about SIN.
That is the challenge, to bring the "light of the glorious gospel of Christ.
Waves of wickedness, that have, many times, been very destructive to our ability to call for a change in the morals and values of society.
I submit to you that a change must come!
Our thinking about sin must change. The way we view sin must change. We can no longer embrace the declining levels of morals that society is projecting.
How can we do this?
1. WE MUST MAINTAIN A HIGH LEVEL OF COMMITMENT TO BIBLICAL STANDARDS.
2. WE MUST ANSWER THE CALL TO COURAGE.
3. IT TAKES COURAGEOUS PERSISTENCE.
Keep on letting your light shine.
A Change Is Gonna. Come
A Change Must Come.
A Change Is Coming!
