STRAIGHT TALK FROM JESUS

Matthew 7:13-14 New King James Version

13 “Enter by the narrow gate; for wide is the gate and broad is the way that leads to destruction, and there are many who go in by it.

14 Because narrow is the gate and difficult is the way which leads to life, and there are few who find it.

Sermon Notes: STRAIGHT TALK FROM JESUS

Jesus was pretty straight forward when He says…

There are two roads you can choose in your life…one has a wide gate and the path is broad…many choose it…but it leads to destruction.

The second road has a small gate…and the path is narrow…only a few people choose it…but it leads to life.

What Jesus was saying is that there are two paths each of us will chose to take.

He also said the road you chose will make all the difference.

I believe there are three main reasons most people choose the road that leads to destruction over the road that leads to life.

One, “I can do what I want.”

The second reason is: “Our traveling companions".

And finally, we almost always focus on the temporary over the eternal.

There’s only one path to God…

Straight Talk from Jesus is that

“He is the way, the truth, and the life, no one comes to the Father except through Him".
