THE CHRISTIAN DECLARATION

Galatians 2:20 New King James Version

20 I have been crucified with Christ; it is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me; and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave Himself for me.

Sermon Notes:  THE CHRISTIAN DECLARATION

To adhere to THE CHRISTIAN DECLARATION

First, Make A Bold Declaration

When you repented of your sins and were buried with Christ in baptism and were raised to live a new life.

In doing this, you were making a bold declaration.

Understand that you were at that time proclaiming what Paul proclaimed in Galatians 2:20

"I have been crucified with Christ and I no longer live, but Christ lives in me.

Second, We must Pay A High Price

It’s one thing, to make a bold declaration in the comfort of a church building.

But it is quite another to live up to it. To pay the price.

The second part of Galatians 2:20 “and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God”

Third, We Reaped the Great Reward

Jesus won our freedom, and our independence...

That’s the Third part of Galatians 2:20   “Who loved me and gave Himself for me.”

The declaration is bold "Jesus is my Lord"

The price is high "Die to self"

But the reward is GREAT!
