Habakkuk 2:2-3 New King James Version
2 Then the Lord answered me and said: “Write the vision And make it plain on tablets,
That he may run who reads it.
3 For the vision is yet for an appointed time; But at the end it will speak, and it will not lie.
Though it tarries, wait for it; Because it will surely come, It will not tarry.
Sermon Notes: Ain’t No Stopping Us Now
In Habakkuk's day things were to get worse before they got better.
And he was called to live by his faith.
To trust the Lord who is faithful to rescue His people and true to His word.
And that same principle is true for us as Christians.
God is faithful to carry out His plans and purposes at His appointed time and to finish the good work He has started in the lives of all His children
So, what is God’s Vision for Us? First the question, “Why do we exist?”
We exist to glorify God by knowing, applying, and proclaiming
Write the vision. And make it plain on tablets, that he may run who reads it.
The second question is, “Where are we going from here?”
You see, we were on our own agenda but now we are following His agenda.
For the vision is yet for an appointed time; But at the end it will speak, and it will not lie.
And the last question is. What’s God’s Ministry for Us?
It’s about our role we played in preparing the world for Christ’s return.
Though it tarries, wait for it; Because it will surely come, It will not tarry.
