The Monkeypox Outbreak is now declared a public health emergency and there's currently a shortage of vaccines.

As of 8/12/2022 close to 10,500 cases have been reported in the US.

Monkeypox is a viral infection caused by the monkeypox virus, milder and less serious than smallpox.

Monkeypox effects rodents and primates in rain forest areas of west and central Africa that can be transmitted to humans.

Monkeypox signs and symptoms include rash, fever, headache, respiratory symptoms(sore throat, nasal congestion or cough) and swollen lymph nodes.
