On December 24, 1984, Reverend Horace married his high school sweetheart, the former Linda Wilcox. Today, they have three adult children: Marquea, Tiffany and William III. They are also the proud grandparents of seven grandsons and three granddaughters. In 1996, Reverend Horace moved to Phoenix, Arizona. God's delivering power allowed him to recognize that there was still a calling on his life. In 1998, his family joined Pilgrim Rest Baptist Church, under the leadership of the Late Bishop Alexis A. Thomas. While at Pilgrim Rest, Reverend Horace acknowledged his call to the ministry. In 2002, Reverend Horace and his family transferred their membership to Bethesda Community Baptist Church. Under Reverend James N. Preston's leadership, Reverend Horace joined the ministerial staff. Reverend Horace served as youth pastor, with his wife Lady Linda at his side. In 2014, Reverend William and Lady Linda Horace was called to another part of the vineyard: Macedonia Baptist Church. After Reverend John Haddix's retirement in September 2014, Reverend Horace became Macedonia's Interim Pastor. On January 7, 2015, Reverend Horace was unanimously voted in as permanent Pastor of Macedonia Baptist Church, Phoenix, Arizona. Pastor William and Lady Linda Horace enjoy spending time with family and friends, long weekend getaways, hanging with the grandkids, date nights and share a favorite scripture: Proverbs 3:5-6 “Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge Him and He shall direct your paths.”
