Romans 10:9-10 New King James Version
9 that if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved.
10 For with the heart one believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.
Sermon Notes: Promise of Salvation
In our texts Paul is talking about the continuity between our heart and the promise.
Everyone who claims to be a Christian believes and trust in the reality of Salvation.
This heart felt trust in this reality lies at the core of what it means to be a Christian.
And the result of this confession and trust is our salvation.
It means embracing and trusting Jesus enough to trust our very lives to him.
That’s the Promise of Salvation
