Proverbs 10:11-14 New King James Version

11 The mouth of the righteous is a well of life, But violence covers the mouth of the wicked.

12 Hatred stirs up strife, But love covers all sins.

13 Wisdom is found on the lips of him who has understanding, But a rod is for the back of him who [a]is devoid of understanding.

14 Wise people store up knowledge, But the mouth of the foolish is near destruction.

Sermon Notes: YOU TALK TO MUCH!

Our words are powerful.

We have the glorious privilege to choose our words.

And this privilege is one of the main reasons we are to gain wisdom.

We should never underestimate the powers of words.

The faculty of speech offers immense influence either for good or evil.

The righteous speak wise words.

This is the power of Christ in action!

Ask God to give you a new heart. Only then can you love and speak words that have eternal value.
